Natural rubbers are a bio-based renewable resource. Liquid depolymerized natural rubber is obtained from natural rubber through a special process. It has a honey-like consistency. The polymer chains have many cross-linkable double bonds.

Industries

Depolymerized natural rubber (DPR) is used as a non-volatile plasticizer and as a carrier material for powdered rubber additives. DPR is part of the polymer matrix and can be cross-linked using the standard networking mechanisms. DPR also serves as a thickener in lubricating oils.
